Gupgups - done
A friend asked me to recreate his Gupgup design inside Maya. I think he was planning to make them into toys and needed the models for the 3d laser printing process.
I can't remember ever making anything as cute as these :)
Wendy
I played this online ios card game called Alice VS Wonderland where you have all these fairy tale characters battling each other. The game art was gorgeous and I got so inspired that I just had to create my own card :P
Babae sa Bintana
Wanted to make something with a Noir feel.
I'd like to revisit this one day, change the curtains into lace and fix the lady's hair, maybe have her wearing a beehive hair and smoking a cigarette.
Ap-uat
Personal Project
Ap-uat was a character I created to be the villain for a game I had in mind. He was to be the forgotten brother of Anubis, with whom he shared similar characteristics.
I modeled and textured him in Zbrush and Maya. I tried to keep his polygon count at minimum with most details projected onto the textures and normal maps.
Berenice
The character of Berenice was to be the companion of the protagonist for this game I had in mind.
Below is the Ideation I worked on to come up with Berenice's design.
Xmen
Some character models I sculpted for my Character Modeling Class in VanArts.
The Storm model was done in Term 1, back when I was just learning to use Zbrush.
The Cable model was done in Term 2, where I had a better grasp of the sculpting tools. I got more confident with the software and I started playing with different visual styles. I also found myself using the h-polish more often than not.

Magic User
Test character lighting for the magic user character in the movie RPG Metanoia. Since the style was stylized and cartoony, I tried to emulate the style of Pixar through use of subsurface scattering and warm lighting.
I did the UV mapping and posing of the character in Maya. The textures I created in Photoshop. The lighting I did in Maya.
The final composite I did in Combustion.
Everything except the character model was done by me.
